Our team is excited to announce that AXIS Gear is officially certified with Samsung SmartThings. The hugely popular smart home system now has it’s first retrofit motorized shading device in it’s growing family of connected devices.
This official integration is a collaboration that has been in the works between our two teams and we couldn’t be more excited to share the good news.
To connect AXIS Gear to your SmartThings hub:
- Open the SmartThings app
- Tap the + Icon
- Select “Add device”
- Scroll and find the “AXIS” logo
- Select the “Window Treatment” category and follow the on-screen instructions
After connecting Gear to your SmartThings hub, you can enjoy an ever-growing amount of integrations from products such as:
- Google Assistant and Google Home and Google Nest family of devices
- Amazon Alexa and Amazon Echo family of devices
- Samsung Bixby
- Philips Hue lights
- ecobee Thermostats
- Ring Doorbells
- August Smart Locks
